Wise Women: S4 Trailer
I talk with three very intelligent and determined women. In the first episode Eliza opens up about her son’s diagnosis of ADHD as well as hers. She takes us on a journey of discovery and adaptation and explains how ADHD is a SUPERPOWER! She presents a positive perspective on a diagnosis that has been given a bad rap for years.
Sharon is up next ... .a Johns Hopkins Emergency Medicine Physician who faces the daily challenge of making decisions affecting the health and well being of others. She does it with all the tools in her tool kit, some of which include heavy doses of brainpower, confidence, and compassion.
Tanya is our third guest. She is a licensed psychologist who practices Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or ACT for short. She delves into why we worry and shares with us some of her methods for dealing with anxiety. We discuss why happiness is not a goal…so interesting…and finally Tanya talks about various key strategies for dealing with some symptoms of ADHD.
